Qigong is an ancient Chinese system of postures, breathing and intention in support of health and longevity. Qi (pronounced "chee") is usually translated as vital energy or life force. Qong (pronounced "gung") is skill or practice. Tai Chi is a type of Qigong that combines a choreographed set of postures with controlled breathing and focused intent.
